The site that will house the future headquarters of the Municipal Agency for Major Works is located in the Somgandé district of Ouagadougou, not far from the Free University of Burkina. It is bordered by four lanes, the main ones being to the south and west. It includes a main building, two sentry boxes, indoor and outdoor car parks, a 20*40m football field, an 8*15m volleyball court, an 8*15m aerobics area, a rest area, toilets, technical rooms, a garbage collection area, a borehole, green spaces and traffic areas. The main building is a building built in R+4 with an accessible terrace and occupies an area of approximately 1940.37m².

Description of the building

On each level, we have toilets that serve the building and an interior patio of 6m*17.85m. Vertical circulation is ensured by 3 staircases and an elevator.

  • Ground floor: At the ground level we have two directions in addition to general services such as the courier, the security control service, the infirmary, the breastfeeding room, the technical room, the cafeteria and the coffee break area.
  • R+1: The R+1 level includes two directorates and the general archives.
  • R+2: This level is made up of three directions with a coffee-break area.
  • R+3: The third floor has 25 unmarked offices with three meeting rooms.
  • R+4: The fourth floor consists of two conference rooms, five meeting rooms and two offices for possible room rentals.
    The roof terrace: The last level is an accessible terrace.
